The Terrell Clayton Acting School focuses on the art and skill of cold reading. Cold reading is an important skill to posses as an actor. The ability to breakdown a script on the fly will help you tremendously at any audition you have.
Lets say you have an audition. You have prepared the scene they gave you for the audition. Great! What if you then get to the audition, nail it, and they love you so much that they want you to read again, but this time they want you to read a different scene? And oh by the way, you only have 10 minutes to look over the scene....this is why having the skills to cold read are so important.
